TBWC Update
Dear Patients and fellow Christians,
Wow, what a week it has been! There have been lots of changes around the Martell household. I now have the kids here full time, I’m their new teacher, no more activities to run to, and we are mostly staying around the house. We are also undergoing a construction project and preparing to start building a new Total Body Wellness Center space that will NOT be in our house. We are excited about all the transitions and feel a peace about continuing with the project despite the world being a little crazy.
What God has shown me through various sources is that this month of March is to be an extended Sabbath for us. A time to slow down, engage with our family, a time to deepen our relationship with God, and a time to encourage those who are struggling, and slow down enough to truly see people. For the next 2 weeks (through April 2nd) I will not be scheduling Total Body Wellness Appointments to align myself with this. However, I have opened up a new appointment option for prayer if you would like me to pray for you (no charge for this). I feel like this is how I can best support you through this crazy time anyways. We serve a mighty God and I have seen him move in miraculous ways before and I know He can do it again! You can schedule for prayer on the appointment page at drstephmartell.com or schedule it from the app like normal and you should see it as an option on there. Also, if you have any questions or need refills on your supplements, please text me and we can handle that on an individual basis. Be blessed, be healthy, and have a wonderful March!
Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me,
for the Lord has anointed me
to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted
and to proclaim that captives will be released
and prisoners will be freed.
He has sent me to tell those who mourn
that the time of the Lord’s favor has come,
and with it, the day of God’s anger against their enemies.
To all who mourn in Israel,
he will give a crown of beauty for ashes,
a joyous blessing instead of mourning,
festive praise instead of despair.
In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks
that the Lord has planted for his own glory.
